Can you ever hold on to a ghost?

Elliot is tracking an elusive killer, codenamed Ghost, with ties to organized crime. Every time the Sanctuary team gets close, Ghost slips their grasp.

Cole has nowhere left to turn. With his father dying and his sister in danger, he turns for help to the very people trying to track him down. Sanctuary’s assistance is what he needs to punch another hole in Varga’s organization.

When Elliot and Cole meet, it isn’t just passion that consumes them. When lust becomes something more, Elliot realizes that sometimes you can’t hold on to a ghost, and that sacrifice is often the only way to make things right.

RJ Scott does it again… another fantastic novel in her incredible Sanctuary series, which should come as no surprise to anyone who has read her works.

In case you haven’t read any of the Sanctuary series, Sanctuary is an organization that steps in to deal with situations that the alphabet agencies (FBI, NSA, etc.) can’t handle.

There are currently 8 novels in the series, with Ghost being number 9 which hits the stores Feb 28th.

All her works are outstanding, and Ghost is no different. I personally would love to see the entire series turned into a TV mini-series.

One of the things I like about the series is that when new characters are introduced in a novel they get their own book.

In Ghost, the depth and complexity of the characters is outstanding, as is the realism of the plots. Ms. Scott, in addition to giving the characters their own book, she brings in characters from previous books.

Case in point, when things get dicey in Ghost, it’s Nik (Guarding Morgan, Sanctuary #1), Kayden (Face Value, Sanctuary #3) and Manny (Full Circle, Sanctuary #5) to the rescue.

Ghost has more twists and turns than a bag of curly fries. It keeps you guessing as to whether the man Sanctuary calls Ghost is a good guy or a bad guy. Sanctuary operatives aren’t sure themselves. Skipping to the end of the book to find out is not allowed!

Ghost can be read as a standalone novel, but readers will have a much more enjoyable experience reading the other novels in sequence.

I cannot recommend Ghost highly enough. Everyone should have it on their must read list. Don’t forget the rest of the series.

I’d love to give it more than 5 stars, but it’s the highest rating I can give it.

Thank you for such an awesome series, Ms. Scott. I can’t wait to read #10!
